(I've been listening to a lot of Halsey and Hozier and reading Gaiman and thus am blaming this ridiculousness on that)

y'know what makes more sense? buffy as death. it obviously isnt an inherently negative card. its about change and overcoming. and its her gift.

EXACTLY. The cards that they did make seemed a little ignorant about some of the meanings of the cards. They did a Death card that was a Grim Reaper looking down at a dead Slayer. That is NOT the meaning of Death in Tarot. http://buffy.wikia.com/wiki/Buffy_the_Vampire_Slayer%27s_Tarot

The First Slayer as the Fool pisses me off to no end and Angel as Temperance? Not so much.

I think they did Buffy/Angel as the Lovers card but I can't find that right now.

make-up-magic at deviant art did their own version of the Major Arcana that suits much better: the Fool, (Xander), the Magician (Jenny) and The High Priestess (Willow) , Giles as Hierophant, Fred the Hermit, Angel the Hanged Man, Spike as Lover, Cordy is the Empress, etc.

Tara is Temperance, Dawn is the World, Buffy is Judgement and the First Slayer is Death. I can roll with that. The one I'm not as sure of is Faith as strength, she represents chaos to me.

This does get me thinking though. Good stuff.
