clockwork_hart1HI. It's my birthday on wednesday and rl is going not-the-best bc we all know the giant hampster that controls the universe likes to use me as a chew toy so I'm cheering myself up and trying to do something with my time that's not negative or stupid hence:

Like pb is the heiress to a pharmaceutical conglomerate that low-key own half the world, and she spent half of her childhood down in the labs playing and she Gets ethics, okay, but sometimes things have to be tried once or twice for the betterment of humanity.
marcy (fell into the family fortune in her late teens when her birthparents had a most tragic accident but it hurts less than it should because she's basically lived with Simon since she was eight and he Still protests when she tries to pay for takeout) tends to try and balance the good done by the charities she patrons (orphanages and foster kids mostly, with a hiv clinic and support group thrown in) with the damage of bonibel's more damaging failed experiments. mostly though, she writes beautiful indie rock that gets praised in Pitchfork which makes her laugh uncontrollably when their favoured track is a line from her 14 year old diary and not the heartfelt peice of poetry she first sang into pb's neck. (my hc for her basically is serena van der woodsen meets kstew, possibly with some taymom thrown in)
They shouldn't work. At all. The media thinks pb is a saintly darling, the ivy league girl with two phds and that Marcy is the bad influence, a rich party girl with a biting wit, questionable attitude and songs moral guardians war over. Their public personas are dangerous, fire-forged friends. Their private lives are infinetly more interesting.
